As an entrepreneur, coach, and achiever you are constantly trying to find ways to optimize the path to get to your goals so you can have, do, and be more.
You probably take some personal development courses to help you uncover your limiting beliefs but, you feel like you're still falling short.
Something still feels like it's missing, like you cant seem to break through to the next level or, like you are stuck.
So, you hire the business coach that costs thousands of dollars.
You get on a call with them only to have them do zero homework on who you are and tell you lack luster advice that you've heard many, many, times before.
You start operating out of scarcity. You recognize that what you're doing isn't working so it's putting you in a slight panic and you find yourself trying to do more, create something new, and do whatever you can to at least go to bed at night feeling like you've done something.
Then, when you wake up, you feel a sense of dread as you recognize you still feel defeated. The cycle continues. And, if you are anything like my clients, you end up even more on the edge of burnout as your body starts to put up the red flags of stress in the form of uncomfortable symptoms like bloat, gas, brain fog, period pain, headaches, eczema, acne, hair loss, feeling wired but tired... the list goes on.
When you get to this point there is often this initial instinct to DO MORE... hire ANOTHER business coach, produce more, more, more, more, more...
But, what your body is begging you to do is to DO LESS.
As an achiever who works incredibly hard the concept of doing less to achieve more feels wildly uncomfortable because your normal is to be in this GO mode.
GO MODE isn't sustainable. It may work in the beginning but if you want to be able to accomplish new goals and see new levels in your business you have to be able to create safety within your nervous system and honor the parts of you that feel the compulsive need to do more.
Being a business owner and sharing your gifts to the world/ other people is an incredibly vulnerable act. It stretches you out of your comfort zone time, and time again. Sometimes with immense applause from those that cheer you on. Sometimes with harsh DM's, comments, and emails from those that should have never been in your orbit to begin with.
Whether you go for a new goal, try something new, or get criticism this can stir up a reaction within the nervous system.
You can start to feel a physical sensation in your body that feels uncomfortable.
The natural instinct is to avoid feeling anything uncomfortable (out of protection). This is often why achievers enter GO MODE to distract them from what's really going on internally.
Instead of investing in more strategy to help you ignore your inner state it's vital to invest in ways to honor your inner state. (Or, have this in addition to strategy.)

What the symptoms, sensations, and cravings you are experiencing mean and how to effectively honor your body to create a sense of nourishment and internal safety.

You wake up feeling refreshed instead of feeling that immediate flutter of anxiety.
You are able to feel like YOU.
